| The Board of Trustees of the
Friona Independent School District will meet in a called session on
Monday, August 25, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Meeting Room of the Friona I.S.D.
Administration Building, 909 East 11th Street, Friona, Texas 79035.

| This meeting will be held in compliance with Gov. Code, Title 5, Ch. 551. The meeting is also being conducted in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act [U.S.C. 12101 (1991)]. The facility where the meeting is to be held is wheelchair-accessible and handicapped parking is available. To make arrangements for these or other handicapped services, please call 250-2747. The agenda for this meeting is as follows:

| 1. | The Board will conduct a public hearing on the adoption of the 2008-2009 Maintenance and Operations budget and the tax rate needed to fund that budget. |
| 2. | The Board will conduct a budget work session. |
| 3. | The Board will adopt the 2008-2009 M&O budget. |
| 4. | The Board will approve the 2008-2009 teacher appraisal calendar and appraisers. |
| 5. | The Board will approve the 2008-2009 Student Code of Conduct. |
| 6. | The Board will review 2008-2009 Student Handbooks. |
| 7 | Adjourn. |
| If during the course of the meeting any discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in closed meeting,, the Board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meeting Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Subchapter D & E. | |
